Midnight Flowers

She drowns in her almighty sorrow,

Wandering the nethernight,

Midnight flowers blossom around her,

Illuminating her path violet blue,

The scent of warmth does pirouette,

Dancing infectiously in the still air,

She feels spiritlessly adrift,

Walking into her embracing destiny,

She doesn’t know who she was,

Nor who she’s about to become,

The Earth falls and her guide vanishes,

Her existence fades and she plummets,

The sweet smoke does clear,

And a scream curdles her blood,

Her life flashes and her fate envelops in wax,

Does she discover peace?

Or does she live in disharmony?

In a world torn apart by war.
